Back Bet.Works Recruits Marc Brody From SBTech

US supplier of iGaming & sports betting technology and other solutions, Bet.Works, has announced the hiring of former SBTech and bwin.party executive, Marc Brody.

Brody was named the company's Senior Vice President of Business Development. His proven track record in the industry and more than 20 years' worth of sports executive experience will provide a great asset to the growing start-up.

His responsibilities in his new role will include defining opportunities for US-oriented growth and overseeing business development within the company and account management teams.

An Elite Signing:

Brody has been at the helm of his departments within numerous companies in media, gaming and sports...

...these include NBA and Perform Group, besides the already mentioned bwin and SBTech. Such a strong portfolio demonstrates Bet.Work's commitment to their partners by "bringing in the best talent to support continued growth in the US."

Those are the words of the company's CEO, David Wang, who went on to add:

"We are delighted to have Marc join Bet.Works as he is highly regarded in the industry as a business development expert and has signed and managed numerous high-profile US sports betting technology contracts, including deals with the NBA and NHL."

What US Wants:

Commenting on his new appointment, Brody praised his new employers for being "by far the most dynamic technology provider in the industry..."

...and that their sports betting platform is exactly what US operators are looking for. "The company is solely focused on the US market, which will provide our partners with a unique advantage over the current competition. I am thrilled to be a part of this exceptional team and look forward to driving the expansion of Bet.Works' products and managed services," he concluded.

Final Piece of the Puzzle:

At the beginning of the year, the company made another significant reinforcement in human power, by naming Dr Laila Mintas chair of the Advisory Board.

The hiring of Dr Mintas was also a step towards getting a bigger hold on the US sports betting market, that is growing by the day after the liberalization of this branch of gambling by the US Supreme Court last year.

Upon releasing the official information, David Wang has stated that Dr Mintas is an extremely well-respected leader in the US sports betting industry "with significant experience in integrity" and working with sports leagues like NBA , NHL, MLB, MLS etc.

"She will be invaluable in leading our advisory board and driving the continued growth of Bet.Works,' he added.
