Swedish land based and online operator, Svenska Spel announced the extension of its sponsorship deal with Hockey Allsvenskan, the second-highest league in Swedish ice hockey.
The deal includes another six years of sponsorship, which works out to approximately SEK 48 million (GBP 3.3 million) in support with a potential bonus of SEK 500 000 per year as compared to the previous contract for SEK 7 million annually.
Stephan Guiance CEO of Hockey Allsvenskan, said that the extended sponsorship represents Svenska Spel as "committed partners to developing the sport of Ice Hockey within Sweden”.

It's always nice to see that such a partnerships between sports and gambling organizations lasts so long, obviously it works pretty well for both sides that's why...
It's always nice to see that such a partnerships between sports and gambling organizations lasts so long, obviously it works pretty well for both sides that's why Svenska Spel is interested to extend the partnership. The hockey is hugely popular sport in Sweden which makes the deal even better for the bookmaker.
