West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino says he does not believe fans will be angry with him if he leaves the club after saving them from relegation. Berahino has scored 14 goals so far this season and his good form led him to receive his first England call-up. The 21-year-old forward had been linked with a move to Liverpool or Tottenham in the January transfer window but the two clubs have not made official bids.
The striker says he would be ready to “push on” after securing the team's presence in the Premier League for another season. He is under contract with the club until June 2017 but he has rejected an extension offer. “I've got to stay focused on what I'm doing right now, which is scoring the goals and keeping West Brom in the Premier League,” Berahino told Sky Sports.
“If I can keep them in the Premier League and score as many goals as I can, I'm pretty sure the fans wouldn't mind me pushing on and going on to bigger things.” About manager Tony Pulis Berahino said: "He's old school: he believes in hard work. But all the lads have taken to his work well, we've been working together, and his main focus since he stepped in the building was to get us together working as a team."
West Brom are 2/11 at Bet365 to avoid relegation this season.

He is good player, but if you look today players from 21 years old are already confirmed and ready to play on high level. So I think he is not promising and he will never be a big star. Can you remember Messi with 21 years old, or Lukaku... that were great promising player, Berahino who scored 14 goals for WBA and this...

Saido Berahino is still very young and still not a proven Premier league player. I think it will be a mistake if he leaves WBA right away and jump to the bigger club where everything is deferent and the pressure is enormous. He will have to play at least till end of season in Bromich and have to deserve a big transfer...

Hes promising young player, but still not bigger club material. He should maybe move to middle quality club in Premier league so he can improve even more.

As zebrazebr said he scores goal on every second match, and if you take that as a number that is not very high percent of scoring, but he plays for WBA and there he almost have no player that can play on his level. So I think that if he move to bigger club and play with better players he will play even better. Good luck ! ;)

Big words from a 21 years old boy/football player. All people who know him and West Bromwich Albions knows too that he is a big talent. This seasom is a big chance to him to show his skills. From 28 appearance he made 28 goals and 4 assits. It is 1 goal/2games stat. It is promising. But in my opinion he should stay one...

But in my opinion he should stay one mode year at his current club and should prove that he is really good for example Liverpool. As long as he had a good year he is just a rising talent i think. I understand that he want a bigger club but he is only 21 years old he must improve his character and skills to be enough for a big clu . His prize is 4,40 million pounds in pursuance of transermarkt. Its truly worth it. if WBA could hold him for 1 year more they could sell him for more than 10 million pounds (ofc if he do an amazing other yeat).
