Celtic will host Italian side Inter Milan in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday evening. The Scots have great memories of their meeting with the Italians back in 1967 when they defeated Inter Milan 2-1 in the final of the European Cup. That was and still is the biggest achievement in the club's history.
Celtic have been in good form lately, having won all their last matches in all competitions. Moreover, they have let in just one goal in those eight games. They will be without defender Charlie Mulgrew against Inter while Kris Commons might also miss out. Celtic have lost all their last four matches against Italian teams.
Inter were unbeaten in the group stage but their fortunes have not changed on the domestic front since Roberto Mancini took charge in November. They do have two consecutive wins in the Serie A but before those matches they had won just two of eight. Yuto Nagatomo will be out of contention due to a thigh injury but new transfers Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri are expected to play.

My prediction: Inter to win 2-1.

That was great great match. I think that nobody expect match like this. A lot of goals, great football and at the end we saw draw with six goals 3-3. This is great result for Inter but it is far from over. Celtic still have chances to go in next round and I think that they will try everything to beat Inter in Italy.

This was really interesting match to follow with lot of tvists. Personally I am satisfied with outcome, because I like Seltic more than Inter, but I believe that they have nothing to search for at Milano with that kind of game. Inter will show their power at their own court. Unfortunately, Seltic is too weak for this level...

I hope Celtic will have the quality to take a stand against Inter Milan and make this match up interesting. Yes the Scots don't have enough competitor games in their league and l I think that's why the Scottish football goes down and down in quality for the past 30 or 40 years.

I think that both teams want trophy in this competition. For Celtic is it important to have big matches, in their national league they don't have a lot of big and hard matches since Rangers relegate into division two and people are hungry of great matches. This is big and I think that Celtic will give all to win here because...

They are far from top of Seria A and if they do something in Europa League that really can save this season. So both team are good and both team want trophy in this competition... it will be interesting :)
