Champions Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to extend their 100% record in the French top-flight when they travel to face Montpellier at the Stade de la Mosson on Friday evening. So far PSG have won both their matches this season while Montpellier had the exact opposite start with two defeats out of two. Montpellier have won just one of the last 13 matches against PSG, that was in the French Cup two seasons ago. PSG have won 24 of the 38 meetings against Montpellier so far.
Montpellier surprisingly won the Ligue 1 title in 2012, but that performance seems very far away these days. Last season they managed to finish seventh but with just a few changes to their squad this summer they might not be able to do better this term. They lost 2-0 at home to newly-promoted Angers on opening day and then were defeated 1-0 at Rennes last week.
Laurent Blanc's PSG had a perfect start to the new season, even though their performances have not been too convincing. After last week's 2-0 win over Ajaccio the head coach said: "We are on a good winning run with the nine wins from the end of last season. What I'll remember from this match, and in our games since the start of the season, is the team's concentration." New signing Angel di Maria will probably take place on the bench as he is working to build his match fitness after having missed most of pre-season. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is struggling with a knee injury and might miss out.

PSG is the best team in France and this year I don't see who can be their serious rival. All teams are weaker than PSG and this year they will have 20 points more than any team in League 1. I think that they also can do something more in Champions League this season. This will be year of PSG :)

Well done Johnny! This was good game for PSG, they won and that is important for them. Their play weren't at top level, but they success to win. Also, Di Maria wasn't on the pitch, they really need player like him. I think that PSG will win domestic league easily. They are too good for all other clubs in France.

PSG continue with the perfect start this season although the results are not very convincing. They have all the class and players in their squad so will be more surprising if they didn't...

PSG is the greatest favorites for winning the title in French League 1 again this season. They proved this again yesterday, they've won easy yesterday against Montpellier. Even it was a win with just 1:0 they had the control of the result during the whole match. Also we shouldn't forget that yesterday there were no Ibrahimovich...

This match won't be the most beautiful memories of mines. I think PSG are far far away from the Champions League Trophy. They can buy almost everybody but they are still a Manchester City II. Di Maria found the bad direction again. Congratulations Johnny, Your correct score pick is godd again.

Paris Saint-Germain is much better then any other team in French leasgue.Everything except win for them today would be huge surprise. I really cant see how Montpellier can stop Parisiens.I predict 2 or 3goal difference win for PSG,with good game from Angel Di Maria.

The Montpellier had a bad start championship with two losses, I think the PSG will not have much difficulty to win this game, despite playing out of your field and without the players Di maria and Ibra. PSG maintained a very good team since last year and should fight for the cup this year too.

PG can do more than one goal, I think it will be more, Montpellier is a team which is not on the top of their game for years, this will not be a great match to watch, although I am not fan of french league, think it is a fact. Looking forward to see Di Maria in some of next games.
