Premier League: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea preview

Title contenders Chelsea are looking to get another winning streak going when they travel to meet Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium on Wednesday. The two teams have met in the FA Cup last season and Chelsea won that match 2-0 with goals from Pedro and Diego Costa. That was the fourth consecutive win for Chelsea against Wolves, but the two teams have been in different divisions in recent years. Wolves have won a match against Chelsea in 2011, 1-0 at Molineux, but overall the Blues have won no less than nine of the last ten direct matches between the two teams. Wolverhampton are going through a crisis at the moment, the good start to the season seems long forgotten as the team have been unable to win any of their last six Premier League matches and lost five of them. The Blues remain third in the Premier League table, seven points behind leaders Manchester City and just one point above fourth-placed Arsenal. Ross Barkley and Victor Moses are the only injury doubts for manager Maurizio Sarri, who might choose to rotate some of his players because they will have a very busy schedule in December.
