Premier League: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea preview
Title contenders Chelsea are looking to get another winning streak going when they travel to meet Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium on Wednesday. The two teams have met in the FA Cup last season and Chelsea won that match 2-0 with goals from Pedro and Diego Costa. That was the fourth consecutive win for Chelsea against Wolves, but the two teams have been in different divisions in recent years. Wolves have won a match against Chelsea in 2011, 1-0 at Molineux, but overall the Blues have won no less than nine of the last ten direct matches between the two teams. Wolverhampton are going through a crisis at the moment, the good start to the season seems long forgotten as the team have been unable to win any of their last six Premier League matches and lost five of them. They dropped to 12th place in the Premier League table after last week's 2-1 defeat at Cardiff, and the relegation zone is now just seven points away. However, the only point that they managed to grab during that six-match spell was a prestigious one as they managed to snatch a 1-1 draw at Arsenal. Jonny is still injured and won't be available for Wednesday's match, while midfielder Ruben Neves is suspended. Chelsea have recovered well from the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham two weeks ago, a result which ended their unbeaten streak, first they defeated PAOK 4-0 in the Europa League and then secured a 2-0 Premier League victory over Fulham last weekend. The Blues remain third in the Premier League table, seven points behind leaders Manchester City and just one point above fourth-placed Arsenal. Ross Barkley and Victor Moses are the only injury doubts for manager Maurizio Sarri, who might choose to rotate some of his players because they will have a very busy schedule in December. Probable line-ups: Wolves: Patricio - Bennett, Coady, Boly - Doherty, Moutinho, Gibbs-White, Vinagre - Jota, Bonatini, Cavaleiro Chelsea: Arrizabalaga - Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson - Kante, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek - Willian, Morata, Hazard My prediction: Chelsea to win 3-1, the Blues will surely take advantage of Wolverhampton's current problems. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Wolves win - 5.00 Draw - 3.75 Chelsea win - 1.80
