UK online bookmaker Betfred announced their operation's closure in Australia as of December 1st after just six months of business; they said good bye to their clients in a message on their official website Betfred.com.au.
The message reads: “We are sorry to announce that from Monday 1st December 2014 our Australian operation will cease trading. All monies will be returned to the card registered to your account''.
“Betfred Australia would like to thank you for your custom and apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any further questions please email our customer services at support@betfred.com”.
Betfred declared that Australian market is overpopulated and that their finances will be better spent elsewhere.
