The two best teams in German football, at least in recent years, clash on Saturday as Borussia Dortmund host Bundesliga title holders Bayern Munich at Signal Iduna Park. The two teams have met at the start of the current season, when Bayern Munich clinched the Super Cup with a 2-0 victory in August. Last season Bayern Munich beat Dortmund 5-1 at home, while the reverse fixture ended 0-0. Bayern havel also beaten Borussia in the German Cup final last season. Dortmund have not beaten Bayern since 2014.
Borussia Dortmund are trying to get back at the top of German football, but kepping the pace of Bayern Munich is nearly impossible. Borussia have lost two of their ten league matches so far and recovered from a winless streak just before the international break, when they won 5-2 at Hamburg. They are currently fifth in the Bundesliga table, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich. Neven Subotic, Sven Bender and Erik Durm are injured, but Marco Reus could make his return after a severe injury.
Bayern are at the top of the Bundesliga table, no surprise there, but RB Leipzig are tied with them on 24 points, so any slip-up could see Carlo Ancelotti's men lose the leadership. They are still unbeaten in the league this season, with seven wins and three draws in the Bundesliga, but they did lose against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Kingsley Coman is injured, while Arturo Vidal, Robben and Javi Martinez might recover in time for the big match.

After that 1-0 win Dortmund is just 3 points behind Bayern in the table and for a first time in few years we have the giant with shaking performance in Germany, and who knows we might could even having a real title race this season. It's of course too early and Bayern is still the big favourite but certainly don't look to be so easy for them this season.
