Aston Villa starlet Jack Grealish has ended speculation about his future as he signed a new four-year contract with the club. Grealish turns 21 on Saturday and will remain under contract with Aston Villa until 2020. He is an England Under-21 international and has been considered as one of the most talented English players of his generation. He has scored five times in 37 appearances for Aston Villa and seems committed to help the club bounce back into the Premier League.
Grealish told the club's official website: "Everyone knows this is a club I love dearly - and it's the place I want to play my football. Bodymoor Heath provides a great environment in which to continue my football education and to call Villa Park home is something I will never take for granted. We're looking to return to the Premier League. I want to be a big part of that process and will be doing everything possible to make that a reality." The midfielder enjoyed a good start to the season, making five appearances in the Championship and scoring two goals.
However, Aston Villa didn't have the best of starts to life in the Championship as they only grabbed one win and two draws out of their first five matches of the season. They are currently 16th in the league table with five goals scored and five received. At the start of the season they had been the top favourites to win the Championship under new manager Roberto Di Matteo. Now they are 18/1 at Bet365 to win the division, while Newcastle are the new favourites at 13/8 while Norwich City are 9/2 to win the Championship.
