Innovative UK bookmaker, Ladbrokes, has developed an all new feature alongside Playtech and Openbet, that will allow for customers to adjust their football accumulators on-the-fly during live matches. The new feature, Edit My Acca, will give customers complete freedom over betting with the ability to now remove unsettled legs on any particular section of a match. In other words, if a match appears to be going against the favor of the initial bet, players can simply scale down the bet to be on just a section of the match, rather than the overall outcome.
According to head of digital product at Ladbrokes, Dipen Nagda, "Football accumulators are by far the most popular sports multiple. We already offer an industry-leading insurance offer and acca tracking service.”
Nagda added, “By launching Edit My Acca we are providing customers with another unique and highly engaging feature, giving them more control.”
The team effort between Playtech, Ladbrokes, and Openbet to develop the new feature was done with the sole intent to enhance the customers' experience with using the software.
"This is a real game changer. If one or two legs of your acca aren't doing so well you can remove them and extend your chances of winning, all while matches are in progress," commented Ian Chuter, Playtech Sports' strategic advisor.
Jeremy Thompson-Hill, CEO of OpenBet, stated, “OpenBet is committed to leading the way in sports betting innovation, and Edit My Acca is the latest exciting new product to be seamlessly integrated via our platform,” further adding, “Ladbrokes' customers will love the new feature, which gives them greater flexibility on their accas, and we look forward to working alongside our partners on more innovative sportsbook products in the future.”
