Sportech's Football Pools have partnered with sports betting solutions provider, Commologic, to launch its first-ever in-play betting product, BetUP. The products launch comes appropriately just in time for the 2016-17 Premier League season, beginning Saturday, August 13th.
Sportech's latest product, in collaboration with UK and Malta-based Commologic, has been reported to apply to all major UK games, in addition to top European competitions like the UEFA Champions, and Europa Leagues. The product is compatible with desktop and mobile devices, and there is currently talks of an app to follow suit.
The BetUP product has been designed for casual sports fans, and will serve as an acquisition tool, joining Unibet in its launch. It has also been developed to deliver a second screen, in-game experience, allowing for users to acquire a better feel for in-play betting. Users will be placed into pools offering large jackpots, and those who accurately predict a series of in-play propositions can take advantage.

Additionally, Tamir Berler, Commologic managing director, is excited about the recent partnership, referring to Sportech as an “iconic brand.”
Berler further added, "BetUp will engage the Football Pools audience with live moments of entertainment for the first time.”
