Fortuna Entertainment Group has just reached an agreement with the Czech Football Association, which enables the Eastern European gaming operator to sponsor the association's domestic leagues, national team, and all other levels.
The agreement has been made to extend for a total of 6 years, and in addition to its sponsor, Fortuna will also serve as the partner of the National football team, as well as its club cup competition (MOL Cup) and the Super Cup. The Super Cup has the winner of the Czech First League and the MOL Cup go head to head.
Per the deal, the country's top football division will also receive a new title, Fortuna Liga, which will take effect at the start of the 2018-19 season. The agreement will also extend to a number of other divisions as well, including regional, plus the Czech Football League, the second division, and third-tier Moravian Silesian Football League.
Football is a prime sport for Fortuna, and in fact the company is reliant upon more than 50% of its bets wagered on the game. This latest move bumps the Czech football league into second place as the most successful football competition, behind the English Premier League.
Fortuna strives to provide state-of-the-art esports and competitive gaming to players throughout its designated region. Among its offerings include the organization and production of events, tournaments, leagues, and more. The recent Czech football sponsorship deal will be a successful step for the company, gaining it even more recognition.
