Gloryhunter has partnered up with Betfred, which will allow the fantasy football operator to have the bookmaker's odds appear on its mobile app. Having launched last year, the product has been designed to provide users with a simpler version of standard fantasy football games, in an attempt to resolve user difficulty maintaining teams over the course of an entire season, according to Gloryhunter founder, Richard Hague.
Teams can now be created with players from the English Football League, and players will have the option to share their progress with friends or other worldwide users by way of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp. The latest results can also be received by SMS message alerts.
The latest partnership also comes equipped with a leaderboard, enabling players to collect points each month to win prizes based on their leaderboard position. Along with increased chances of winning, new additions also include added game updates, the chance to earn a VIP trip to Las Vegas, and monthly prizes from Betfred.
Founder of Betfred, Fred Done, stated, “Gloryhunter is something that true football fans will enjoy this season and it really stood out to me as a digital game that is going to soar in popularity. It is based on real-life action on the pitch – and exciting live sport and fans is what Betfred is all about. It seemed like a natural fit to join forces and support such an ambitious new digital start-up."
Richard Hague, Gloryhunter creator, added, “We have big plans for growth this upcoming season and Betfred's backing will allow us to achieve this.”
