The world's leading virtual sports specialist, Inspired, has just renewed its contract with UK-based 49's, enabling a continued supply of virtual sports content. The two have a long history with one another, and in fact, 49's serves as the very first company to have delivered Inspired's virtual sports games. Since 2001, the company has supplied both virtual horse and greyhound races by satellite to nearly 10,000 UK-licensed betting offices.
Inspired's chief commercial officer for digital games, Steve Rogers, stated, in reference to the recent renewal, “I'm delighted to announce this deal, which sees Inspired and 49's continuing their long-standing business relationship.”
Rogers added, "To now be able to license these well-established premium Virtual races to our clients for their worldwide digital channels is a hugely exciting opportunity given the growth we have seen in our digital revenues. Since our very first Virtual Sports deployment in 2001, 49's has been delivering our best-in-class content to their customers, and I'm thrilled that this will continue to be the case."
David Purvis, 49's chief executive also commented, adding, “We are pleased to have extended and broadened our agreement with Inspired, and look forward to continuing our successful working relationship.”
He continued, "Furthermore, this new deal will see 49's virtual horse racing and greyhound brands being enhanced and distributed through digital channels to a worldwide audience."
Under the renewed contract, Inspired will provide 49's tracks with its latest graphical upgrades, including Millersfield, Sprint Valley, Portman Park, Brushwood, and Steepledowns. Additionally, the company will deliver 49's virtual content through its digital channels to numerous customers.
