The Los Angeles Dodgers added yet another starting player, right-hander Chad Billingsley, to the 15-day disabled list. They've also brought in Stephen Fife from Triple-A Albuquerque to start in a game against the Baltimore Orioles.
Billingsley was scheduled to start but is experiencing some pain in his right elbow. He was on the disbled list when he finished up last season and was also on the list earlier in the season from March 31 to April 10 when he suffered a bruised right index finger. Billingsley is holds a 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA after starting in two of this season's games.
Fife is also a right handed player and was 1-1 with a 4.61 ERA after starting in three games at Albuquerque this season after ending up with 0-2 with a 2.70 ERA after five starting games with the Dodgers in 2012.
This season, the Dodgers currently have three additional starting players on the disabled list including Zack Greinke with a left fractured clavicle, Chris Capuano with a left calf strain and Ted Lilly due to left shoulder surgery.
