Manchester United are looking to recover from last weekend's Premier League defeat and the League Cup match at Swansea on Tuesday looks like the perfect opportunity. Wilfried Bony, Renato Sanches and Kyle Bartley are injured, while manager Paul Clement might choose to rest some players for next weekend's Premier League match against Arsenal.
Manchester United's twelve-game unbeaten streak in all competitions came to an abrupt end last weekend as they succumbed to a surprising 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield. Manager Jose Mourinho didn't hide his disappointment after the match so he might choose to give some previously unused players a chance to shine and put pressure on the first-team regulars. Phil Jones suffered an injury during last weekend's game and will be unavailable for a while, along with Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
