Inspired by the Euro 2016 Football Championship, Sportsradar subsidiary, Betsradar, has just launched a brand, new virtual sports game, titled, Euro Cup. Its latest title offers data and statistics, in order to provide “the most realistic reflection of real events, outcomes, and probabilities.”
Euro Cup's launch comes after the release of an exclusive version of Betradar's Live Sports Centre data solution for Euro 2016, and the Copa America Centenario, just last month.
The game is made up of 70-minute cycles, and over 25 operators across the globe have begun integrating the product, including Russian bookmaker Liga Stavok, and Nairabet of Nigeria.
Head of training at Russian bookmaker, Liga Stavok, Maxim Afanasyev, stated “We have used Betradar's virtual football product since 2013 and found that the combination of best in class 3D animation together with the attention to detail in terms of data, histories and markets make their product the most compelling and impactful.”
Afanasyev added, “When we heard that Betradar were ploughing all that same technology and realism into a format that leverages the buzz we anticipate this summer, it really was a no-brainer for us and we cannot wait to see how our customers react to this new instalment.”
Furthermore, Neale Deeney, Betradar's managing director of virtual gaming, commented, “Our virtual products are always built for betting. We've been in this business long enough to know what bettors expect, want and value.”
Deeney added, “We know they expect top notch graphics (and we deliver that), but we know they value the ability to recreate their unique betting journey: whether that is backing their favourite team, researching form or spotting patterns. It seemed obvious to us that a virtual format that mirrors the real tournament would get operators and bettors excited. That has proven to be the case so far and we look forward to adding more operators in the run up to and during the competition.”
