Premier League: Bournemouth vs Arsenal preview
Arsenal are looking to bounce back to winning ways when they return to action after the international break, the Gunners visit Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday. Last season the Cherries won this fixture 2-1, Hector Bellerin had put Arsenal ahead but then Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe turned the game around in just four minutes. Arsenal had won the reverse fixture 3-0 earlier in the season, with two goals from Danny Welbeck and one from Alexandre Lacazette. Overall, Arsenal have won four of the last six direct matches, while Bournemouth have picked up just one win. Bournemouth have been doing very well this season, they even had a few winning streaks going and have lost just four times since the start of the season. However, they did lose their last two matches, 2-1 at home against Manchester United and 2-1 at Newcastle just before the international break. Those two defeats relegated them to sixth place in the Premier League table, four points behind fifth-placed Arsenal. Adam Smith won't be available for Sunday's match due to a serious knee injury that will most likely keep him sidelined for a few months. Jefferson Lerma and Joshua King have returned to full training and are available for selection. Arsenal still have a long unbeaten streak going, they have not lost any of their last sixteen matches in all competitions. However, they have only managed to win one of their last five competitive matches, and that is a reason for concern both for the fans and for manager Unai Emery. The Gunners were held to draws by Crystal Palace, Liverpool and even Wolves in the Premier League, they also recorded a goalless draw against Sporting in the Europa League, and only managed to beat Blackpool 2-1 in the League Cup. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette withdrew from international duty due to injuries, but they should be fine to play on Sunday. Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck are still out, while Laurent Koscielny will probably make the bench. Probable line-ups: Bournemouth: Begovic - Francis, S. Cook, Ake, Daniels - Brooks, L. Cook, Lerma, Fraser - King - Wilson Arsenal: Leno - Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac - Torreira, Xhaka - Iwobi, Ozil, Aubameyang - Lacazette My prediction: Arsenal to win 2-1, both teams are struggling to regain their best form but the Gunners have better quality in attack. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Bournemouth win - 3.50 Draw - 3.80 Arsenal win - 2.10
