Premier League: Bournemouth vs Chelsea preview
Chelsea are looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they visit Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday. The two teams have already met twice this season and Chelsea won on both occasions. The first meeting was the reverse Premier League fixture, which Chelsea won 2-0 with goals from Pedro and Eden Hazard. Then the two sides also met in the League Cup and Chelsea won that match 1-0 with a late goal from Eden Hazard. The Blues have won five of the last six direct matches in all competitions, but the Cherries are still proud of having pulled off a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge last season. Bournemouth have ended a poor streak of five matches without a win in all competitions with a 2-0 victory over West Ham United last time out, and they had all last week to prepare for the match against Chelsea since they had already been knocked out of the FA Cup. The Cherries are currently sailing towards the middle of the Premier League table, eleven points clear of the relegation zone and fourteen points behind sixth-placed Manchester United. Lewis Cook, Simon Francis and new signing Dominic Solanke are injured, while Joshua King and Callum Wilson are injury doubts ahead of Wednesday's match. Chelsea have suffered a painful 2-0 defeat at Arsenal in their last Premier League match, and the poor performance triggered an angry post-match statement from manager Maurizio Sarri. Since then the Blues have signed the striker that the manager wanted, Gonzalo Higuain joined from AC Milan on loan until the end of the season. Chelsea also secured their place in the League Cup final after defeating Tottenham on penalties and also advance in the FA Cup thanks to a 3-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday. Higuain played in the FA Cup match and he is expected to be in the starting eleven again, while Danny Drinkwater is the only injury concern for the visitors. Probable line-ups: Bournemouth: Boruc - Clyne, S. Cook, Ake, Smith - Brooks, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser - King - Wilson Chelsea: Arrizabalaga - Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson - Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic - Pedro, Higuain, Hazard My prediction: Chelsea to win 3-1, the Blues should be able to get all three points here and maybe we'll see Higuain's first goals in the Premier League. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Bournemouth win - 5.75 Draw - 4.33 Chelsea win - 1.61
