Premier League: Burnley vs Chelsea preview

Surprise package Burnley are looking to extend their incredible winning streak to six games when they host defending champions Chelsea at Turf Moor on Thursday. The Clarets have already beaten Chelsea in the reverse fixture earlier this season, they pulled off a spectacular 3-2 victory at Stamford Bridge in August thanks to a goal from Stephen Ward and a double from Sam Vokes. However, Chelsea have won three of the last six direct matches. Burnely are having the best season in their history and they even have a chance to qualify for the Europa League at the end of the campaign. The Clarets have won their last five Premier League matches and are now just two points behind sixth-placed Arsenal in the league table. Last weekend Burnley defeated Leicester 2-1 at Turf Moor and manager Sean Dyche will most likely choose to field an unchanged starting eleven. Chelsea can only hope to finish this season with some decent results, they don't have many chances left to finish in the top four and the title defence has already failed. The Blues are seven points behind fourth-placed Tottenham and it is hard to believe that the Spurs could slip up that often in the remaining five league matches.
