Premier League: Burnley vs Tottenham preview
Tottenham are looking to record their fifth consecutive victory in all competitions when they visit Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday. The Spurs won the reverse fixture 1-0 in December, it was a close call for them as the winning goal was scored by Christian Eriksen in the 91st minute. That was the second consecutive win for Tottenham over the Clarets, last season they won 3-0 at Turf Moor after a 1-1 draw in London. Overall, Tottenham have won four of their last six direct matches against Burnley and have not lost against the Clarets since a 4-2 defeat in 2010. Burnley ended a streak of four matches without a victory in all competitions with a 3-1 triumph at Brighton on February 9, and after that they had a pretty long break as they are no longer involved in the FA Cup. Their recent form has been pretty good, with just one match lost out of the last nine, the 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City in the FA Cup. The Clarets are currently fifteenth in the Premier League table, just three points above the relegation zone, so they still need to collect quite a few points before making sure they remain in the Premier League for another season. Aaron Lennon and Jonathan Walters are still out injured, while Steven Defour is a doubt. Tottenham have been doing very well lately, even without injured Dele Alli and Harry Kane. They have won their last four matches in all competitions, including last week's commanding 3-0 victory over Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League. In the Premier League they consolidated their third position with a 3-1 victory over Leicester last time out and they are now nine points clear of fourth-placed Manchester United. Harry Kane has made his return in training but he might be rested for another few days before being thrown into battle. Dele Alli is still out injured, along with Ben Davies and Vincent Janssen. Probable line-ups: Burnley: Heaton - Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor - Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, McNeil - Barnes, Wood Tottenham: Lloris - Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose - Sissoko, Dier, Winks - Eriksen - Son, Llorente My prediction: Tottenham to win 1-0, the Spurs are in very good shape and they should be able to edge past the Clarets. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Burnley win - 5.00 Draw - 3.75 Tottenham win - 1.66
