Premier League: Chelsea sack Jose Mourinho
Chelsea have sacked manager Jose Mourinho on Tuesday, seven months after they claimed the Premier League title with the Portuguese boss at the helm. The second spell at Chelsea ends for Mourinho after less than two years, as he had taken charge in June 2013. The Blues won the title and the League Cup last season, but this campaign started terribly for them with nine defeats out of sixteen games so far. They are currently 16th in the Premier League table, just one point above the drop zone. Last Monday they were beaten 2-1 by current league leaders Leicester City. Brendan Rodgers, Juande Ramos, Pep Guardiola and Guus Hiddink have been linked with the Chelsea job lately. On a positive note, Chelsea are through to the first knockout round of the Champions League, where they will meet French reigning champions PSG in February 2016. Mourinho had just signed a new contract with Chelsea last summer, a new deal that was going to expire after four years. He has won three Premier League titles with the club, the FA Cup and three League Cups. You can bet on who will be the next Chelsea manager at SkyBet, here are the odds for the top five favourites: Guus Hiddink - 1.2 Juande Ramos - 8.0 Brendan Rodgers - 11.0 Carlo Ancelotti - 13.0 Pep Guardiola - 13.0
