Premier League: Chelsea vs Tottenham preview

London's best teams of the season face each other on Saturday at noon, when fourth-placed Chelsea host fifth-placed Tottenham in a Premier League derby at Stamford Bridge. The reverse fixture, played in December, was won 2-0 by Chelsea with two goals from Brazilian winger Willian. That was the third consecutive win for Chelsea over Tottenham in all competitions, a run that ended a three-game winning streak for the Spurs in direct matches.

Chelsea are hoping to bounce back after Monday's 2-0 defeat at Manchester United, a result that puts their fourth place in real danger as Tottenham are just one point behind, Sheffiled United just two, and the Red Devils just three points away. The Blues are without a win in their last four league matches and they have won just one of their last six Premier League games. N'Golo Kante picked up an injury during the match against Man United and will be absent from Saturday's game, along with Marco van Ginkel and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Striker Tammy Abraham is an injury doubt, along with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic and Andreas Christensen.

Tottenham are undefeated in their last four Premier League matches and they have won the last two, 2-0 at home against Manchester City and 3-2 at Aston Villa last week. However, this week the Spurs suffered a setback in the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League, they lost 1-0 at home against RB Leipzig and will have a tough time in the second leg in Germany. Son Heung-Min joined Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko on the injured list after the Aston Villa match as he had to undergo surgery for an arm fracture, while defender Juan Foyth is a doubt.

Probable line-ups:

Chelsea: Caballero - James, Zouma, Rudiger, Azpilicueta - Mount, Jorginho, Kovacic - Pedro, Batshuayi, Willian

Tottenham: Lloris - Tanganga, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies - Aurier, Ndombele, Winks, Lo Celso - Bergwijn, Moura

My prediction:

Both sides will be determined not to lose this match, and I think that will lead to a 1-1 draw.

Here are the odds for the match at NetBet
