Premier League: Crystal Palace vs Tottenham preview
Tottenham are looking to extend their winning streak to four games in all competitions when they visit Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park for a London derby on Saturday. Tottenham have won all the last four direct matches against Crystal Palace and they won them all with the same score: 1-0. Last season Harry Kane scored the decisive goal at Selhurst Park in the 88th minute. Tottenham have won the last six Premier League matches against the Eagles and have only conceded one goal in the process. The last time the Eagles won a league match against the Spurs was in 2015. Crystal Palace have been struggling lately, they have not won any of their last six matches in all competitions and lost five of them. The only match in which they managed to avoid defeat was the 2-2 draw against Arsenal, but that was followed by a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in the League Cup and a 3-1 defeat at Chelsea last weekend. Andros Townsend scored for the Eagles at Stamford Bridge, making it 1-1 on 53 minutes, but then the Blues fired two goals past them to get all three points. Christian Benteke, Joel Ward, Connor Wickham and Scott Dann remain sidelined for the home side. Tottenham have been in solid form lately, they lost just two of their last eleven matches in all competitions and those defeats were against huge teams like Barcelona in the Champions League and Manchester City in the Premier League. Last weekend the Spurs had to fight for a 3-2 victory at Wolves, despite having built a three-goal lead in the first half, while this week they defeated PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the Champions League. Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama have returned to training and will both be hoping to be included in the squad for Saturday's match. Vincent Janssen, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele are all injured. Probable line-ups: Crystal Palace: Hennessey - Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt - McArthur, Kouyate, Milivojevic, Meyer - Zaha, Townsend Tottenham: Lloris - Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies - Winks, Eriksen - Lamela, Alli, Moura - Kane My prediction: Tottenham to win 2-1, Crystal Palace are not strong enough to beat the Spurs but they will cause them more than a few headaches. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Crystal Palace win - 4.75 Draw - 3.50 Tottenham win - 1.75
