Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has found himself a place to play until the end of the season as he joined Premier League side West Bromwich Albion on loan. Elsewhere, Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu returns to England and joins Watford until the end of the campaign. Both players had difficulties in breaking into the starting eleven at their clubs and with the World Cup approaching this summer they thought playing first-team football at weaker teams might get them back into their national teams.
28-year-old Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has scored 74 Premier League goals in 114 starts but this season he only managed to start five matches under manager Jurgen Klopp. Inter Milan and Newcastle also wanted to get Sturridge on loan. "This is a big coup for us. He has fantastic talent," said West Brom boss Alan Pardew. Sturridge added: "I've got friends here I've played with before. The manager spoke very well, the challenge with the team and the style of play - I just felt this was the right fit for me."
Gerard Deulofeu becomes the first signing of new Watford manager Javi Gracia and he is no stranger to the Premier League after having spent two seasons at Everton. He scored two goals in 37 league appearances for the Toffees, who sent him out on loan at AC Milan before selling him back to Barcelona. Deulofeu made just ten league appearances for the Catalan giants this season and scored just one goal, so he found less and less chances to play alongside superstars like Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
West Brom are 22/1 at Betfair to finish inside the Premier League top ten this season, while Watford are 9/4 to finish in the top half of the league table.

Yeah a good moves for both players as the World Cup is pretty near and no one with an ambition to play at the finals would of like to just sit on the bench during that time. Sturridge has probably realistic chances of entering the World Cup England squad if he plays well for WBA although that night be quite tough in the form his current team is, still better some playing time in weaker team than...none at all.
