Leicester City are looking to extend their Premier League winning streak to three games when they meet Everton at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Last season the Foxes defeated the Toffees 2-0 in this fixture, while the reverse match was won by Everton 2-1. The last six matches between these two teams have produced a balanced record, with three wins for each side. However, Everton have won just one of their last nine away matches at Leicester, and the Foxes have won two of their last three home matches against the Toffees. We haven't seen a draw between these two sides since 2015.
Leicester had a pretty good start to the season so far, they have lost just three matches since the start of the campaign and two of those were against Manchester United and Liverpool. Last week they defeated Wolves on penalties in the League Cup before recording a second consecutive Premier League victory, 2-0 at struggling Newcastle. They have scored at least one goal in each of their seven Premier League matches so far this season. Matty James and Demarai Gray are sidelined for the home side, but Jamie Vardy might recover from a shin injury in time for Saturday's match.
Everton have been struggling for consistency since the start of the season and last weekend they seemed to have found some hope after the
3-0 Premier League victory over Fulham. However, just a few days later the Toffees got knocked out of the League Cup by Southampton, the match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes and the Saints won the penalty shoot-out. James McCarthy and Beni Baningime are still injured and won't be available for selection, but Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina and Seamus Coleman are getting closer and closer to their returns to full fitness.
Probable line-ups:
Leicester: Schmeichel - Amartey, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell - Ndidi, Mendy - Pereira, Iheanacho, Maddison - Vardy
Everton: Pickford - Kenny, Keane, Zouma, Digne - Davies, Gueye - Walcott, Sigurdsson, Richarlison - Calvert-Lewin
My prediction: Leicester to win 2-1, the Foxes are a solid side while Everton are still looking for their optimal set up.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
