Premier League: Leicester vs Liverpool preview
Liverpool are looking to extend their perfect Premier League record this season into the fourth match as they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Last season the Reds won both league matches against the Foxes, 3-2 in Leicester and 2-1 in Liverpool, and Mohamed Salah scored three goals in those couple of matches. However, the overall record of the last six direct meetings in all competitions shows a balance of power as each of the two sides grabbed three wins. Four of the last six direct matches had more than three goals in them. Leicester had a good start to the season overall, they did lose the first match 2-1 at Manchester United but then recovered with consecutive league wins against Wolves and Southampton and this week they secured a 4-0 League Cup victory over Fleetwood Town. Filip Benkovic made his debut for the Foxes in that match but he should be on the bench on Saturday, while Jamie Vardy serves the last of his three-match ban. Matty James remains injured and will be unavailable, while Caglar Soyuncu still needs more work before being fit for a Premier League start. Liverpool had a perfect start to the season so far, three wins out of three, seven goals scored and none conceded. It is true that their opponents were West Ham, Crystal Palace and Brighton, but the perfect defensive record that the Reds managed to keep is quite impressive indeed. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Dejan Lovren remain the only injury concerns for manager Jurgen Klopp, who will most likely keep the changes into his starting eleven to a minimum. Jordan Henderson will be hoping to get a starting berth, but Georginio Wijnaldum has played extremely well so far and is unlikely to be replaced at this point. Probable line-ups: Leicester: Schmeichel - Pereira, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell - Ndidi, Mendy - Albrighton, Maddison, Gray - Iheanacho Liverpool: Alisson - Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson - Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita - Salah, Firmino, Mane My prediction: Liverpool to win 2-0, the Reds are way too strong for the Foxes at the moment. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Leicester win - 6.50 Draw - 4.50 Liverpool win - 1.44
