Premier League: Liverpool vs Fulham preview
Liverpool are hoping to avoid being the victim of a second consecutive upset when they host Premier League bottom side Fulham at Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool have won the last four direct matches against Fulham, but the last time they met was back in 2014. Fulham did manage to win both Premier League matches against Liverpool in the 2011-2012 season, but after that they conceded more than three goals per game in each of the following four meetings. In fact, five of the last seven direct matches had at least four goals scored in each of them. Liverpool have suffered a shocking defeat this week in the Champions League, they lost 2-0 in Belgrade against Crvena Zvezda and saw their situation in Group C become incredibly complicated. Jurgen Klopp will want to see his men bounce back from that defeat right away, and meeting last-placed Fulham looks like the perfect opportunity. Last weekend the Reds grabbed a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal, but it wasn't the most convincing performance. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain remains sidelined, but Naby Keita should now be ready for his first match in over a month. Fulham are in deep trouble, they have lost their last six matches in all competitions and have dropped to last place in the Premier League table. Last week they lost 1-0 at Huddersfield, it was their third consecutive match without scoring in all competitions. Last week they also crashed out of the League Cup after losing 2-0 at Manchester City. They have conceded 29 goals in 11 Premier League matches so far this season, more than any other team in the top flight. Joe Bryan and Kevin McDonald are the only injury concerns for the away side ahead of Sunday's match. Probable line-ups: Liverpool: Alisson - Clyne, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson - Fabinho, Keita - Shaqiri, Firmino, Mane - Salah Fulham: Bettinelli - Fosu-Mensah, Odoi, Marchand, Sessegnon - Cairney, Anguissa, Seri - Vietto, Mitrovic, Schurrle My prediction: Liverpool to win 4-0, the Reds will be furious after this week's defeat. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Liverpool win - 1.10 Draw - 9.00 Fulham win - 23.00
