Premier League leaders Liverpool are looking to secure their fifth consecutive win when they host Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday. Last season the Reds snatched a 3-2 victory at St James' Park with a decisive goal from Divock Origi, while the match at Anfield was a lot easier and was won 4-0 by Jurgen Klopp's men. Liverpool have won the last three direct matches, while the Magpies have not defeated them since 2015.
Liverpool are hoping that they international break didn't affect their tempo, so far they have won four out of four in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals in the process. The last match before the break also brought the Reds their first clean sheet of the season, they won 3-0 at Burnley to keep champions Manchester City two points behind. Alisson, Nathaniel Clyne and Naby Keita remain sidelined with injuries, but manager Jurgen Klopp doesn't have any fresh concerns regarding his squad's fitness.
Newcastle probably wished to postpone the international break for a few weeks, it came just when they seemed to be getting into the right gear. They started the season with two consecutive defeats, but then they won 1-0 at Tottenham and drew 1-1 with Waford to move away from the bottom of the Premier League table. Manager Steve Bruce still has a long list of injured players: DeAndre Yedlin, Florian Lejeune, Dwight Gayle, Allan Saint-Maximin, Matt Ritchie, Jack Colback and Andy Carroll are all expected to miss Saturday's game.
Probable line-ups:
Liverpool: Adrian - Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson - Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum - Salah, Firmino, Mane
Newcastle: Dubravka - Willems, Dummett, Shelvey, Schar, Krafth - Atsu, Longstaff, Hayden, Almiron - Joelinton
My prediction:
Liverpool are really solid and they seem to be getting more organized at the back as well, I think the Reds will win this match 2-0.
Here are the odds for the match at NetBet:
Liverpool win - 1.15
Draw - 8.25
Newcastle win - 19.75

Despite the win against Spurs away just couple of weeks back nobody have really expected Newcastle could do any harm to in form Liverpool in this one and of course that prove to be a right suggestion. The difference in class between those two has been too obvious and Liverpool got the 3 points relatively easy in my opinion, Firmino has been outstanding in this game.
