Premier League: Manchester City vs Leicester preview
Premier League leaders Manchester City are looking to get back to winning ways when they host former 2016 champions Leicester at the Etihad Stadium. The two teams have already met twice at the King Power Stadium this season, and Manchester City won 2-0 in the Premier League and 2-1 on penalties in the League Cup. Leicester won 4-2 at home against Manchester City and lost 2-1 away, but in the miraculous 2015-2016 season they defeated the Citizens 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City were denied victory at Burnley last weekend, the Citizens dominated the game and squandered plenty of great chances before Johann Gudmundsson scored a late equalizer for the home side. That was a frustrating result for Pep Guardiola and one that he wouldn't want to see repeated, even though the Citizens are thirteen points ahead of second-placed Manchester United. David Silva and John Stones are injury doubts ahead of this match, while Benjamin Mendy, Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus, Fabian Delph and Leroy Sane will surely miss out. Leicester are sitting quite comfortably in eighth place at the moment, they don't have to worry about relegation and they can't hope for European qualification either as sixth-placed Arsenal are ten points ahead. Last weekend the Foxes were held to a 1-1 draw at home by relegation candidates Swansea. Riyad Mahrez did not play in that match and he surely won't play against Manchester City after Leicester denied him the chance to move to the Citizens on transfer deadline day. Wes Morgan and Robert Huth will miss out through injury. Probable line-ups: Man City: Ederson - Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Zinchenko - De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Gundogan - B. Silva, Aguero, Sterling Leicester: Schmeichel - Simpson, Dragovic, Maguire, Fuchs - Diabate, Ndidi, Iborra, Albrighton - Okazaki - Vardy My prediction: Manchester City to win 4-1. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Man City win - 1.19 Draw - 6.50 Leicester win - 13.00
