Premier League: Manchester United vs Chelsea preview
Premier League top-four contenders Manchester United and Chelsea will be desperate to return to winning ways when they clash at Old Trafford on Sunday. The reverse fixture, played in October, was a spectacular one and it ended 2-2 as Anthony Martial fired a double for United after Antonio Rudiger had opened the scoring for the Blues and then Ross Barkley netted the equalizer in the 96th minute. The two sides have also met in the FA Cup in February and Manchester United won that match 2-0 at Stamford Bridge with goals from Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba. Overall, Manchester United have won three of the last six direct matches in all competitions, while Chelsea have claimed two victories. Manchester United are going through a very difficult period, the toughest since manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho. They have lost seven of their last nine matches in all competitions, a terrible run that started right after the incredible 3-1 success at Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League. Last week the Red Devils lost 4-0 at Everton and this week they were defeated 2-0 by Manchester City in the derby, which means they have now gone three matches without scoring. Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez were all substitutes in this week's derby match and they will probably be promoted to the starting eleven, while Antonio Valencia is still injured. Chelsea have not been doing much better, they have won just one of their last three league matches and are sitting in fourth place, one point above Arsenal and three ahead of Manchester United. This week they were unable to get more than a 2-2 draw at home against Burnley, while the week before they got beaten 2-0 by Liverpool at Anfield. The Blues have won just two of their last five away matches in the Premier League, at relegation candidates Fulham and Cardiff. Callum Hudson-Odoi suffered a severe injury in Monday's match against Burnley and faces a long stint on the sidelines, while Antonio Rudiger and Ethan Ampadu will also miss out through injury. Probable line-ups: Man United: De Gea - Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw - Pereira, Fred, Pogba - Lingard - Lukaku, Rashford Chelsea: Arrizabalaga - Azpilicueta, Christensen, Luiz, Emerson - Kante, Jorginho, Barkley - Pedro, Higuain, Hazard My prediction: 1-1 draw, Manchester United are in terrible shape but they should find the strength to avoid defeat here. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Man United win - 2.70 Draw - 3.50 Chelsea win - 2.70
