Premier League: Manchester United vs Fulham preview
Manchester United are looking to put an end to their four-match victory drought in the Premier League when they meet struggling newly-promoted side Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday. The last time these two teams met was in the 2013-2014 season, when Fulham got relegated from the Premier League, but the Cottagers did manage to secure a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford back then. Overall, Manchester United have won seven of the last eight direct matches. Fulham have not won a match at Old Trafford since 2003, when they pulled off a surprising 3-1 victory against the Red Devils. Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho are under increasing pressure because their Premier League results are well below expectations. Last weekend they fought back from 2-0 down to grab a 2-2 draw at Southampton, and this week they pulled off another fightback to secure a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford. Mourinho has far fewer injury concerns now, only Victor Lindelof and Alexis Sanchez are definitely ruled out, while Luke Shaw, Phil Jones and Anthony Martial could all recover in time for this weekend's match. Ashley Young missed the match against Arsenal through suspension but he will return to the starting eleven against Fulham. Fulham are still looking for their second victory under new manager Claudio Ranieri, he started his reign with 3-2 win over Southampton, but then recorded a 2-0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend and a 1-1 home draw against Leicester City earlier this week. Fulham are at the bottom of the Premier League table at the moment, with just nine points collected in fifteen matches. They have conceded 36 goals so far, more than any other team in the top flight. Floyd Ayite and Kevin McDonald are the only injury concerns for the away side, while Ranieri might continue to tinker with his starting eleven until he finds the best balance. Probable line-ups: Man United: De Gea - Dalot, Smalling, Rojo, Young - Herrera, Matic, Pogba - Lingard, Lukaku, Rashford Fulham: Rico - Christie, Odoi, Mawson, Marchand - Seri, Chambers - Kamara, Cairney, Sessegnon - Mitrovic My prediction: Manchester United to win 2-1, the Red Devils should perform better now that the injury crisis is over. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Man United win - 1.33 Draw - 5.75 Fulham win - 10.00
