Both Stoke City and Leicester will be looking to climb out of the bottom half of the Premier League table when they clash at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday. This fixture ended 2-2 last season, but the Foxes got the three points in the reverse appointment with a 2-0 victory at the King Power Stadium. The Potters rarely managed to beat Leicester lately, their most recent victory was in 2015 and their last league victory at home over the Foxes was all the way back in 2007, when both teams were playing in the Championship.
Stoke City never managed to record consecutive league victories this season, and since they beat Watford 1-0 away last weekend they have another chance to pull that off. They have won just three Premier League matches this season, two of them at home, and have conceded 20 goals in 10 matches. Stephen Ireland and Bruno Martins Indi remain sidelined for the home side, but Peter Crouch, Geoff Cameron and Glen Johnson have a chance of recovering in time for Saturday's match.
Leicester got off to a winning start under new manager Claude Puel, they beat Everton 2-0 last weekend to record their third consecutive victory in all competitions. In fact, the Foxes won all their matches after the sacking of manager Craig Shakespeare but a trip to Stoke is a tough test for any Premier League team. Matty James and Robert Huth remain the only injury concerns for the visitors, so manager Claude Puel will most likely field the same eleven that beat Everton last time out.
Probable line-ups:
Stoke: Butland - Zouma, Shawcross, Wimmer - Diouf, Fletcher, Allen, Pieters - Shaqiri, Sobhi - Choupo-Moting
Leicester: Schmeichel - Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs - Gray, Ndidi, Iborra, Chilwell - Mahrez - Vardy
My prediction: Leicester to win 2-1.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Stoke win - 2.45
Draw - 3.25
Leicester win - 2.87
