Premier League: Tottenham vs Arsenal preview
Tottenham and Arsenal clash on Saturday at Wembley Stadium in a North London derby that could have serious consequences in the race for a top-four place in the Premier League table. Arsenal won the reverse fixture 2-0 in November with goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexi Sanchez, who has since then left the Gunners to join Manchester United. Last season Tottenham defeated Arsenal 2-0 at White Hart Lane, with Dele Alli and Harry Kane on the score sheet. Overall, Tottenham have won just one of the last six direct meetings. Tottenham are in pretty good shape, they are unbeaten in their last eleven matches in all competitions and they have scored in every single match since November 18, when they lost to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Last week they pulled off a 2-2 draw at Liverpool, a result that the Reds felt was harsh considering that they dominated most of the game. This week the Spurs eased past Newport in the FA Cup, despite having rested both Dele Alli and Harry Kane. New signing Lucas Moura is available for the home side, and Toby Alderweireld can also play after having returned from injury. Arsenal have been dominating their home games lately, but away from home they have been disastrous. Last weekend the Gunners thrashed Everton 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium, just a few days after the same Arsenal produced a terrible display and lost 3-1 at Swansea. New signings Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have made the starting line-up against Everton and they did very well, Mkhitaryan provided three assists and Aubameyang scored a goal. Santi Cazorla is the only injured player in the squad, even Danny Welbeck is now back to full fitness. Probable line-ups: Tottenham: Lloris - Trippier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies - Dier, Dembele - Son Heung-Min, Alli, Eriksen - Kane Everton: Cech - Bellerin, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal - Ramsey, Xhaka - Iwobi, Ozil, Mkhitaryan - Aubameyang My prediction: 2-2 draw. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Tottenham win - 2.00 Draw - 3.60 Arsenal win - 3.60
