Second-placed Tottenham will be trying to consolidate their position behind leaders Chelsea when they host European hopefuls Everton at White Hart Lane on Sunday. Before those three draws, Tottenham had three consecutive Premier League wins against the Toffees, who have not managed to win a match at White Hart Lane since 2008.
Tottenham hammered Stoke City 4-0 at White Hart Lane this weekend, thanks to a hat-trick from Harry Kane and a goal from Dele Alli. The result moved them up in second place, ten points behind leaders Chelsea, but both Manchester City and Arsenal have a game in hand on the Spurs. They did suffer the disappointment of getting knocked out of the Europa League by Gent, so now they can focus only on the FA Cup and the Premier League. Danny Rose and Erik Lamela are unavailable, while central defenders Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen picked up knocks against Stoke last time out and might be unavailable as well.
Everton are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League matches and they are just five points behind fifth-placed Liverpool at the moment. However, they were held to draws at both Stoke City and Middlesbrough lately, before last weekend's 2-0 home victory over Sunderland. Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic remain on the injured list as they have been for most of the season, while youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin has a foot injury and might sit this one out.
