Premier League: Tottenham vs Manchester City preview
League leaders Manchester City are hoping to bounce back from recent disappointments when they visit Tottenham at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday. The Citizens have won the reverse fixture 4-1 in December, Raheem Sterling scored twice after Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne had already placed Manchester City firmly ahead. Overall, Tottenham have won three of the last six direct matches and Manchester City have won just two. The last time that Man City have defeated the Spurs in London was in 2015. Tottenham are pushing for a second-place finish in the Premier League this season and it is a reachable goal as they are just four points behind Manchester United and have a game in hand on third-placed Liverpool. The Spurs have won their last six Premier League matches and the last three were all away from home: at Bournemouth, at Chelsea and then at Stoke City. Harry Winks is the only major injury concern for manager Mauricio Pochettino, while Kieran Trippier is a fitness doubt. Manchester City seem to have lost their touch right when it mattered the most, they have now suffered three consecutive defeats and have crashed out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals. Last weekend they could have secured the Premier League title with a victory in the Manchester Derby and everything seemed to go as planned since they were leading 2-0 at the break, but somehow they lost that match 3-2. Fernandinho is suspended for Saturday's match, while Benjamin Mendy and John Stones have fitness issues. Probable line-ups: Tottenham: Lloris - Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies - Dier, Dembele - Eriksen, Alli, Son Heung-Min - Kane Man City: Ederson - Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Delph - De Bruyne, Gundogan, D. Silva - B. Silva, Aguero, Sane My prediction: Tottenham to win 2-1. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Tottenham win - 2.60 Draw - 3.60 Man City win - 2.50
