Chelsea can celebrate winning the Premier League title, their second in three years, if they beat West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Friday. The Blues won the reverse fixture 1-0 in December, but last season the Baggies recorded a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge after having lost the home game 3-2. West Brom have beaten Chelsea 3-0 at home in 2015.
West Bromwich Albion had a solid season overall, they are in eighth place at the moment, don't have any chance to finish above that position but they have to get some points in the last three games of the campaign in order to preserve it. However, they have not won a match since March 18, when they beat Arsenal 3-1. Last week they recorded a 2-2 draw at Burnley to stop a four-game losing streak. Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu are injured, while Jonny Evans is a doubt.
Chelsea have coped very well with the pressure after losing 2-0 at Manchester United in the middle of April. That result allowed Tottenham to close in on the leaders, but the Blues beat the Spurs in the FA Cup before recording three consecutive Premier League wins. N'Golo Kante is the only injury doubt for manager Antonio Conte, who could celebrate winning the Premier League title during his first season in charge.
Probable line-ups:
West Brom: Foster - Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Nyom - Yacob - Brunt, Livermore, Fletcher, McClean - Rondon
Chelsea: Courtois - Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill - Moses, Matic, Kante, Alonso - Willian, Costa, Hazard
My prediction: Chelsea to win 1-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
West Brom win - 10.00
Draw - 5.25
Chelsea win - 1.36
