Manchester City's unbeaten record will be tested again on Saturday when the league leaders travel to The Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion. The two teams have already met in the League Cup this season at the same venue and Manchester City won 2-1 thanks to a pair of goals from Leroy Sane. Manchester City have won the last eleven league meetings against the Baggies, who have not beaten the Citizens since a League Cup match in 2010. The last Premier League victory for West Brom against Man City was in 2008.
West Bromwich Albion are trying to get out of a pretty rough patch, they have not tasted victory in their last eight matches in all competitions and have lost four of them. They have won just two Premier League matches this season, both of them at the very start of the season. The pressure on manager Tony Pulis might become very high very soon, but anything they might get out of the match against the Citizens has to be considered a bonus. Oliver Burke, Jonny Evans and James Morrison are all injured, while Gareth Barry, Gareth McAuley and Hal Robson-Kanu are injury doubts ahead of Saturday's game.
Manchester City are still unbeaten in all competitions this season and have won all but one of their Premier League matches so far, scoring a massive 32 goals in 9 league games. However, this week they struggled to get past Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the League Cup, they only managed to prevail on penalties after not scoring at all in 120 minutes. Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus were both in the starting eleven against Wolves, but Fernandinho, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva were rested. Vincent Kompany and Benjamin Mendy are injured, and Ilkay Gundogan might also miss out.

It looks clear on paper but as we know most of the time things don't work that way. Still City are in great form and everything but their win would be a surprise...
