West Ham are looking to cause another London Derby upset when they host Arsenal at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday evening. Last season the Gunners defeated West Ham quite heavily in both league matches, 5-1 away and 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have won four of the last six direct matches and West Ham have won just once in the last eighteen matches between the two sides. Five of the last six matches between the Gunners and the Hammers produced three or more goals per game.
West Ham pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season last weekend as they defeated reigning champions Chelsea 1-0 at the Olympic Stadium. That was the third Premier League victory of the season for the Hammers, who had not won a league match since the end of September. They are still in the relegation zone despite that famous victory, so they need to keep getting points if they want to move away from the danger area. Andy Carroll is fit again but manager David Moyes might choose to field the same eleven that defeated Chelsea last time out.
Arsenal got held to a 1-1 draw at Southampton last weekend and they nearly lost that match, they only got the draw thanks to a late goal from substitute Olivier Giroud. The result leaves them in fifth place in the Premier League table, with all title challenge hopes gone but with a fierce fight for a top-four spot on the horizon. Aaron Ramsey picked up a knock last weekend and he will have to spend some time on the sidelines, while Shkodran Mustafi might not recover in time for Wednesday's match. Per Mertesacker had a poor performance at the weekend and he might be replaced by Rob Holding on Wednesday.

West Ham are on a real arise lately and I think it's because of the new manager, not Moyes in particular but whoever that could of be, they just hit the bottom in the last months of Bilic spell so the only possible way was upwards. Now they could show they have really good squad for a mid table team and I'm expecting they would be out of relegation contention pretty soon.
