New managers David Moyes and Carlo Ancelotti are hoping to get a good result in the Premier League on Saturday, when their sides West Ham United and Everton meet at the Olympic Stadium in London. The reverse fixture, played in October, was won 2-0 by Everton with goals from Bernard and Gylfi Sigurdsson. Everton have won three of the last six direct matches while West Ham have won two, one at home and one away.
West Ham United had a very good start to life under David Moyes, they won 4-0 against Bournemouth in the Premier League and then defeated Gillingham 2-0 in the FA Cup. The winning streak ended last week when the Hammers lost 1-0 at Sheffield United, a result that leaves them just one point above the relegation zone. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski suffered a recurrence of his hip injury and returns on the sidelines, along with Ryan Fredericks, Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko. Felipe Anderson and Michail Antonio are injury doubts for Saturday's match.
Everton lost two of the three matches that they played in 2020, but those were very tough matches against Manchester City in the Premier League and against local rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup. Last weekend they managed to grab their first victory of the year, 1-0 at home against Brighton with a first-half goal from Richarlison. Everton have lost just one of their last seven matches in the Premier League. Manager Carlo Ancelotti doesn't have any fresh injury concerns as Alex Iwobi, Andre Gomes and Jean-Philippe Gbamin remain sidelined.
Probable line-ups:
West Ham: Randolph - Zabaleta, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell - Snodgrass, Rice, Noble, Fornals - Lanzini - Haller
Everton: Pickford - Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Digne - Sidibe, Davies, Sigurdsson, Bernard - Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin
My prediction:
Everton are looking like a much more solid side at the moment and I think the Toffees will grab a win here, most likely 2-1.
Here are the odds for the match at NetBet:
West Ham win - 2.95
Draw - 3.45
Everton win - 2.45

Obviously there's an improvement in the Hammers results under Moyes and that's of course great for them cause at one point they were really looking lie a sinking ship. Everton on the other hand is on decline though after initial boost which usually comes with the new manager, if you ask me they should of stick with Duncan Ferguson till the end of season and give him a chance to show his capabilities as a manager but they choose the supposedly "more safe" approach with Anchelotti and let's see how that going to develop over time.
