Barcelona are coming from five consecutive league wins, and in between they also managed to reach the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey after defeating Athletic Bilbao in the last sixteen. Gerard Pique will be available again after suspension, while Jordi Alba and Neymar are in doubt. The latter seems to have better chances of playing though.
Atletico Madrid are coming from a disappointing Copa del Rey exit at the hands of Celta Vigo, they were defeated 3-2 at home this week after a goalless draw in the first leg. Their last league match was also a goalless draw, at home against Sevilla, after a good run of four consecutive league wins. Tiago and Fernando Torres might miss out due to injuries, while Angel Correa is suspended for the match.
