The Spanish brand, Codere Apuestas, has just entered into a new deal with Real Madrid CF. This recent collaboration will allow the brand to act as an official betting partner for the renowned club, and was announced at a recent presentation ceremony, held at the club's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Director of institutional relations at Real Madrid, Emilio Butragueño, commented, "Our club is admired by millions of people for what our institution represents. It is synonymous with success but is also identified by its code of values. That is why it is so important to choose our partners well and today we have the honour to present an alliance with Codere, with which we have an important thing in common: a Madrid firm with universal appeal.'
At Wednesday's announcement, Butragueño further added, 'Today we started a journey that in principle will last three years, although our desire is for it to be long-term.'
The deal will further enable Codere to increase its number of betting markets available to customers. Additional markets are set to include top scorers, and goals scored by the club's top players.
Chief executive for Codere, Jose Martinez Sampedro, stated, 'Our desire is to strengthen the bonds that this agreement establishes. As an official betting company we will incorporate the best and broadest bets on the club.'
The Spanish gaming brand holds 3,600 betting shops and currently owns a 30% share of Spain's retail betting market, which it hopes to increase by 7% within the next few years.
