Sevilla are very hopeful of finishing inside the top four in LaLiga this season and their performances so far seem to fuel those hopes. However, their latest results have not been great, they have won just one of their last six league matches and are now tied on 33 points with Real Madrid, ten lengths behind leaders Barcelona. Last weekend Sevilla lost 2-0 at Athletic Bilbao, allowing fifth-placed Alaves to move just one point behind them. This week they lost again to Athletic Bilbao, 1-0 in the Spanish Cup, but they progress to the next round thanks to the 3-1 first-leg victory.
