Serie A champions Juventus are looking for a second consecutive league win, but they will have to work for it as they visit Serie B champions Brescia at Mario Rigamonti Stadium on Tuesday. In fact, the Bianconeri were unable to win on their last two trips to Brescia and even got beaten 3-1 in 2007, when both teams were playing in the second tier of Italian football. However, Juventus have won four of the last six direct matches in all competititions.
Brescia are pretty much on track so far, they have won two matches and lost two so far this season and for now they are safe in the middle of the table. Last week they grabbed a precious 1-0 victory at Udinese to recover from a 1-0 defeat at AC Milan just after the international break. Summer signing Mario Balotelli has not played for his new club yet, but he is now fully fit and head coach Eugenio Corini has suggested he would be counting on the flamboyant striker in this match.
Juventus did not impress too much so far this season, but they have won three out of four and are still unbeaten in Serie A. Last week they fought back from 1-0 down to beat Verona 2-1 in Turin, with goals from Aaron Ramsey and Cristiano Ronaldo. A few days earlier the Bianconeri were on the other end of a comeback as they squandered a two goal lead to record a 2-2 draw at Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo will be rested in midweek, while Marko Pjaca, Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia De Sciglio and Douglas Costa are injured.
Probable line-ups:
Brescia: Joronen - Sabelli, Cistana, Chancellor, Mateju - Dessena, Tonali, Bisoli - Romulo - Balotelli, Donnarumma
Juventus: Szczesny - Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt, Sandro - Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi - Bernardeschi, Higuain, Dybala
My prediction:
This won't be an easy game for Juventus, Brescia are a solid team that will most likely cause trouble to most of the big clubs. However, I think that the Bianconeri are strong and experienced enough to grab a 2-1 win.
Here are the odds for the match at NetBet:
Brescia win - 6.55
Draw - 4.15
Juventus win - 1.51

As Johnny I'm also expecting a tough game for the Turin side in this one. Juventus never been so convincing so far this season while Brescia side have shown they are capable of putting a good performances in the top tier of Italian football so it has to be a relatively close encounter this one. Of course Juve still should be able to win it thou, my prediction is e a single goal win for them 3-2.
