Tottenham full-back Kieran Trippier seems to be heading towards a new destination, even though he is still under contract with the Spurs until 2022. Serie A champions Juventus are rumoured to be targeting the England right-back, but LaLiga side Atletico Madrid are also interested. Napoli are also looking to recruit a new right-back and head coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted that Trippier is one of the options he is considering. However, there is still a possibility for Trippier to remain at Tottenham, he is expected to have a decisive chat with manager Mauricio Pochettino about that after both finish their summer vacations.
The 28-year-old right-back spoke to the press after Saturday's UEFA Champions League final, lost by Tottenham to Liverpool, and said: "I'll go home now, spend time with my family, and just recover after a long, difficult season. Everybody's got a decision to make, no matter what. Obviously this club has been very good for me over the last few years but I'll enjoy my summer, come back in pre-season and that's when I'll sit down with the manager and have a talk about my future. I see a lot of speculation about me not being here. I give everything, 100 per cent every game, win lose or draw. So we'll see what happens in pre-season. I want to stay in England. But what can you do? I'll see what happens and what the club wants, most importantly. I give everything for this club - training sessions, games - so we'll see what happens in pre-season."
Trippier delivered impressive performances for England at the 2018 World Cup but the second part of the season was not that good for him. Those below par performances determined England boss Gareth Southgate to skip Trippier's name when making his 23-man squad for this week's UEFA Nations League Finals, as Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Manchester City's Kyle Walker were preferred.
You can bet on which will be Kieran Trippier's club at the end of the summer transfer window at Betfair, here are the odds for some of the top options:
Napoli - 8/11
Juventus - 3/1
Manchester United - 10/1
Everton - 10/1
AS Roma - 25/1
