A partnership has just bloomed between Sportech Racing and Digital and Bump Worldwide Inc. Bump is specifically known for the electronic 50/50 raffles it provides for professional sporting events. The purpose of this new relationship is to raise cash that will go toward well-deserving charities sponsored by professional sports teams. As Sportech has a history of contributing to a number of charities in the UK, so this recent move is only natural for them.
Bump is no stranger to their own share of charitable activities and, in fact, currently holds license agreements with a total of twelve charitable foundations associated with professional sports teams, including some from the NHL, NBA, NFL, MLS and NASCAR. Such teams include big names like the Chicago Bulls, Vancouver Canucks and Detroit Lions.
Additionally, Bump also plays a large part in handling technology and sales processes parallel to those used by their newest partner, Sportech.
The two plan to complement one another very well. Through their mobile platform, Bump will aid in propelling the digital and gaming skills of Sportech Racing and Digital. As a result, new platforms and applications can be implemented in order to offer opportunities for to take part in the experience of the fan.
Though led by Dan Tanenbaum, holding the role of founder and president of Bump, members of the management team will now move in the direction inspired by Sportech president, Andrew Gaughan.
According to Gaughan, "The acquisition of Bump further diversifies Sportech's presence in the North American sports and gaming markets, adding professional sports team foundations to Sportech's customer base and 50/50 raffles to our slate of products, along with a talented and innovative management team.”
Bump president, Tanenbaum, is equally happy with the recent partnership, adding, "With its access to new markets, sporting events and complementary technologies, Sportech is the perfect partner for achieving Bump's goals for growth and innovation, and the entire Bump team is excited to be a part of the Sportech organization."
