The first week of play has been completed at the 2017 Wimbledon Grand Slam event and the players can enjoy a much-deserved rest day on Sunday as per tournament tradition. Now we know who made it to the fourth round on the men's and women's single draws, but who will win the tournament is still anybody's guess. In the men's tournament, seven of the top-seeded eight players made it to the fourth round, only third-seed Stan Wawrinka crashed out in the first week. The women's tournament saw six of the top eight seeds moving through to the fourth round, but with Serena Williams not playing due to pregnancy, the situation is quite uncertain as top-seed Angelique Kerber and second-seed Simona Halep have never won the Wimbledon title before. Wandeweghe has advanced to the fourth round without dropping a set so far, while Konta has lost a set in the second-round clash against Donna Vekic. Konta will face Caroline Garcia in the fourth round on Monday and if she pulls through she could face either Viktoria Azarenka or Simona Halep in the quarter-finals. Wandeweghe will take on third-seed Caroline Wozniaki in the fourth round. There is a clearer favourite in the men's tournament, at least according to the bookmakers. Veteran Roger Federer is 2/1 to win the tournament at Bet365 but nobody can be sure that he will take the crown, probably not even him. Rafael Nadal is 5/2 to claim the title, Novak Djokovic is 7/2, while top seed Andy Murray is 5/1 to win it. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have advanced to the fourth round without dropping a set in the first week, while Andy Murray had a bit of trouble in the third-round match against Italy's Fabio Fognini, the top seed lost the second set before rallying to win three sets to one.
