Delivering online sport betting, and live betting, Tipbet has just announced that it has been named the official betting partner of professional association football league, Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Per the agreement, Tipbet will fulfill the role of sponsor for the league, the highest level club throughout Germany, consisting of 18 teams. More specifically, it will sponsor all league matches taking place this current season, which started September 23rd, through to 2018.
Its sponsorship role will also extend to the playoffs, as well as the annual All-Star Game. The BBL winner qualifies for the prestigious basketball competition, known as Euroleague. This season's first game resulted in the Skyliner Frankfurt being defeated by last season's champions.
In exchange for sponsoring the league, the BBL will feature the Tipbet brand across its digital channels, and team arenas, in addition to interview backdrops, and LED advertising boards. The BBL site will also provide a link to the online sports betting solution, accessible by visitors through its site.
BBL chief executive, Dr Stefan Holz, commented "We are very pleased that we have Tipbet as a partner by our side. Just like us, they have set a goal of continued growth."
"We look forward to working with the German Basketball Bundesliga. We recognize the enormous potential of basketball in Germany and want to be a part of this growth process. We will also bring our sports betting product to basketball fans throughout Germany, which of course includes a huge and comprehensive basketball offering," added Tipbet product manager, Philippos Naskos.
