UEFA Champions League: Atletico Madrid vs Roma preview

Atletico Madrid have a last chance to salvage their Champions League campaign, but they need to beat Group C leaders Roma at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Wednesday in order to preserve any chance of qualifying. The reverse fixture in Rome ended goalless, and it was the first ever Champions League meeting between the two sides. Atletico and Roma also met in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1999 and back then the Spanish side won both meetings 2-1.
